Don’t Give Up!

Taken form “Prophecies and Poems Volume One”

Don’t give up,

when the circumstances look like they won’t change.

Even when all that’s around you is speaking the same.

Don’t give up, when the checkbook is lighter than the bills,

and the postman brings more to make that mound into a hill.

Don’t give up,

when the doctor comes and gives the bad report,

and tries to tell you removal is the last resort.

Don’t give up,

when your boss tells you that someone else has got the job.

Then you go home to tell your family and they begin to sob.

Don’t give up, when death comes and it strikes a fatal blow.

It came to take a loved one or someone else you know.

Don’t give up, when it seems like you’re the only one around,

and comfort from a loved one or a friend cannot be found.

Don’t give up, when Satan seems to come in like a flood.

For Jesus was given to shed His precious blood.

Don’t give up, He didn’t die that death for us in vain.

He did it to carry away our sicknesses and pain.

Don’t give up, He arose that morning from the grave.

Now mankind can come to God and be saved.

Don’t give up, He’s seated at the Father’s right hand,

and provided a way for us in Him to stand.

Don’t give up, He’s getting ready to come back for His bride.

The Church will then be with Him forever by His side.

Don’t give up, if you’ve not made Jesus Christ your Lord,

His invitation is for you to come on and climb aboard.
