Choose the Breakthrough

I was awakened very early this morning. My spirit man (who I really am, the real me) was already praying in the spirit. This went on for some time, my flesh screaming at me to go back to sleep: “I’m tired, go back to sleep, I need rest!”

But the decision to serve the Lord as His bond-slave, as His vessel, to be used for His glory is increasingly before me — daily, as I confess it, pray it and meditate it EVERY DAY! So the decision was made to continue praying.

Suddenly the thought struck my heart and soul: WHAT IF THIS WERE THE DAY THE TRUMPET WOULD SOUND AND THE LORD CATCHES US AWAY? You know, beloved, one day will be just that day! AND FOREVER WE SHALL BE WITH THE LORD! Somebody shout HALLELUJAH!

Then the statement was posed to me: “Choose the Breakthrough.”

The floodgates of revelation from the Word of God opened and poured through me: Choose ye this day — How long halt ye between two opinions…if the Lord be God SERVE HIM — I would that ye be cold or hot (personally, I’m assigned to get you HOT for God!) — we have been made more than conquerors — this is the victory that overcomes the world, our faith (which Jesus is the author and finisher of).

I think you get the point! The ball is in our courts! The victory belongs to us BUT WE HAVE TO POSSESS IT! We have all the ‘tools’ necessary — the Word of God, the Blood of Jesus, the Name of Jesus, the Spirit of God (Who is the Spirit of Grace, which enables us to do everything and anything within the Will of God for our lives!).

So, let me ask you this question: What are you waiting for? Or, rather: Who is waiting on who? (I just heard that one in my spirit). I’m not trying to condemn but provoke and inspire us all (yeah, I hear it first and get fired up!)!

I love each and every one of you, very much! Let’s prioritize our day, week, month and year to put the things of God first! Remember — eternity is just around the corner — perhaps today!

Thank you for your confidence. When one uses the Bible (coupled with a tremendous relationship with the Lord and His Spirit) messages can be conveyed beyond anyone’s planning. Dig around the site and keep on loving Him!

This is really upnlftiig *sigh* I dont like that I have this problem and I try to keep things in perspective because I know the world doesn’t revovle around myself but at times I just get the feeling that everyone is looking at me and judging me for my every mistake, it makes it hard to even interact with people without being even in the least anxious. This is upnlftiig though and I will def turn my problems to the Lord because at this point he is the only one that can help me. Thanks for the post and your helping people like us by just talking about your situations and giving us all courage.

Hello Vijay! This truly is a difficult thing, but I only have one word for you to understand — practice! Anxiety is a symptom of the carnal (fleshly) nature. That nature was trained from an early age. Now we have to train it to another way of doing things. That Way is Jesus. Philippians tells us to “Let this mind be in us, that was in Christ Jesus.” That means there is a choice we have to make: allow the thoughts of Christ dominate us, and thereby direct our steps (which are ordered by the Lord — but we have to obey His orders); or, keep thinking like the rest of the world, which is in a negative, downward spiral. Reading the Word of God, daily, gives us the thoughts to think (as we meditate on them, then speak them out loud so we hear our own voices with out hearts!). As we practice doing this we align our steps with those He has already laid out for us (“Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet” and “that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]). God richly BLESS you!!
